Douglas Ridge Rifle Club was founded in 1956. The Club sits on about 130 acres of woods (primarily Douglas Fir), open meadows, and a ridge rising 400 feet above the flatland. Neighboring properties are a mix of agricultural land, residences, and commercial businesses. DRRC is operated under a conditional use permit, and over the years DRRC has expanded to include six ranges, with a membership of over 800 people, and supports more than a dozen shooting disciplines. Our 1,000-yard Range is the longest Long Range in the state and one of the very few on the west coast.
DRRC is run by a board of officers governed by a set of by-laws. Officers are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Officer. There are also six board members/trustees and a range host who lives on the property. A Chief Range Safety Officer is in charge of training Range Safety Officers (RSOs) who, in turn, supervise shooting safety at the range.
Individual shooting disciplines are organized and directed by Discipline Directors who are approved by the board and in charge of organizing, scheduling and running matches and practices.

Serenity Mountain Retreat (SMR) is a family-oriented, rustic, nudist retreat founded in 1933. It is the oldest nudist club west of the Mississippi and the oldest continuous running business in Estacada. SMR offers a touch of unspoiled wilderness combined with some of the features of modern campgrounds.
SMR is a safe, friendly place, so bring the whole family. We are open year round. Our elevation affords us pleasant summers and generally cooler winters with occasional snow. The camping and RV sites offer cooling shade in the summer and protection from the wind and snow in the winter.
SMR offers plenty of space for tenting or RVing with Twenty 15 amp sites and Two 50 amp hookups. There are also three comfy rooms available in our lodge. Two hot tubs, a wood-fired sauna, and the sweetest water you’ve ever tasted are among our guests favorite amenities.
