We have been actively assisting veterans and families in Estacada since 1920 (101 years). We have several events throughout the year— Memorial Day flag placement at our 9 cemeteries, Car Show, and Veterans Day breakfast. We also have our American Legion Programs include Boys State/Boys Nation, Boy Scouts of America, Youth Law Cadet Enforcement, Oratorical Competition, Junior Shooting Sports, and American Legion Baseball.
We also have an American Flag Exchange program. If a local family needs a new American Flag at their house because their flag is worn or torn, we will provide one for free. We will take the old flag and conduct a retirement ceremony with the local Boy Scouts.
